As we begin our 36th year of providing choral opportunities to the greater Annapolis and surrounding areas, The Arundel Vocal Arts Society, aka, AVAS, kicks off its fall and winter performance season with the theme of “Light and Love”. We will be featuring works of Runestad, Whitacre, Alexander, Yarrow and Clurman among others plus beginning preparation of John Rutter’s “Mass of the Children” for our March concert in collaboration with the Londontown Symphony and Childrens’ Chorus of Annapolis.  Be sure to check out this Concert page soon for more information.

Our rehearsals are held on Wednesdays in the Sanctuary of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 461 College Pkwy, Arnold, MD 21012 at 7:45 p.m.  If you are interested in singing with us or have questions about our upcoming concerts, please visit our Contact Us page. While choral experience is not a requirement to join, some prior musical knowledge and ability makes learning the music easier. A simple audition may be requested of you. Please bring a short, familiar piece. An accompanist will be available.
